What it involves
The neck is treated more slowly and with lighter pressure than the back. James works the muscles at the side of the neck, the long muscles beside the spine and the small muscles under the base of the skull, with your head resting in his hands or on the couch.

Why the chest comes first
A neck that aches by evening is usually holding the head up against a tight chest and rounded upper back, so those are released first.
Reviews
Deep tissue neck massage reviews

My shoulder was worked on for 20 minutes and I can now move my arm the best I've been able to for as long as I can remember.
